For those of us with our own children, there comes a time when you want to introduce your Little to your kids. For me, this occurred on our 6th outing.
I have made it a point to explain to my daughter that Hunter is just like daddy was when I was a little kid. So, it is really nice to take him out, the same way that my Big took me out. And of course, I have assured her that she is still my daughter, and that I love her very much. Luckily, she feels very loved, and has enough confidence that she is very understanding of my spending time with Hunter.
When dropping Hunter off that night (just him and me), with his tupperware full of cookies for his siblings, Hunter told me how much he liked my daughter. This made me smile. And then, when I got home, my daughter told me how much she liked Hunter. I couldn’t be happier.
