Hunter came over the house today for a BBQ, and then some beach time. Hunter and my daughter hung out again. In fact, my daughter plays lacrosse, and introduced Hunter to the game. Hunter tends to be a picky eater, so we had to buy him his own hotdogs. I tried to get him to eat the Trader Joe’s all-natural hotdogs that we would eat (not that we eat hotdogs…ever), but for the barbecue, I made an exception. I tried to pull a fast-one over him, by first giving him one of the more healthy hotdogs. However, Hunter “accidentally” dropped the hotdog after about 2 minutes. A classic little-kid move. He admitted that he didn’t like the hotdog, so I got him one of not-so-healthy ones. He gobbled it up, and was done, leaving me with a pack of them to eat myself.
After we cleaned up, Hunter and my daughter, my fiancé and I all packed into the car, and drove to the beach. That was a lot of fun. We spent most of our time playing in the waves. A ton of fun. And a great way to burn off hotdogs.
