We went old-school today…candlepin bowling. I haven’t gone in years and years. Hunter had the bumpers up (to deter his bowls from going down the gutter). I asked the guy if I could have the same, and he just looked at me like I was weird. Seriously.
Hunter played to win. And I like winning also, so there was definitely a power struggle going on. But in the end, Hunter prevailed. He kicked my butt. As I told him, it does not matter how fast you throw the ball, it matters where you throw it. I think I see a rematch in our future.
In my very-important opinion, real men bowl small-balls.
And since Halloween is coming up, we had to practice our scary faces.
